The familiarity of Guilty Crown’s story with other mecha anime is way too obvious that it’s certainly hard to just ignore. They achieve that level of epicness in the presentation side, but deep inside its story, they need some serious work. VERDICT: Guilty Crown is just another anime which tries to be “epic” but fails flat on the floor while doing so. The opening and ending songs are both beautiful and relaxing that I wouldn’t mind looping it over and over again in an hour.

You cannot deny Production I.G when they are serious, I wouldn’t be surprised if by the next episode, it would be Ghost in the Shell level of animation. In the words of DotA Commentator Luminous: “Just watch the first four minutes, if you like it, watch the whole episode, if not, drop it.” I’ll say it again, the production value is of movie level. In the animation department, there’s nothing to say more.
